Muralist Terms
Last updated June 4, 2026
Overview
These Muralist Terms apply to artists, muralists, and similar creative professionals who create accounts, listings, portfolios, or project-related content on MuralHire.
Platform Role
MuralHire is a managed-match marketplace. It may help you:
- create a public-facing profile
- describe your service areas and mural specialties
- showcase portfolio work
- receive curated introductions or opportunities
MuralHire does not guarantee any specific number of leads, bookings, proposals, or revenue.
Independent Status
Unless a separate written agreement explicitly states otherwise, muralists on MuralHire are independent contractors and not employees of MuralHire.
You remain responsible for:
- your schedule
- your pricing
- your taxes
- your tools and materials
- your methods of work
- deciding whether to accept or decline opportunities
Profile Accuracy
You agree to keep your profile accurate, including:
- your identity
- your portfolio
- your service areas
- your mural specialties
- your availability
- any credentials, insurance, or professional claims you choose to make
Portfolio and Image Rights
You may only upload or authorize images and portfolio content that you have the right to use and share.
If you submit photos of murals, you are responsible for ensuring that:
- the content is accurate
- any required credits are properly identified
- you have authority to grant use or display rights for the content you submit
MuralHire may remove or decline images where rights or attribution are unclear.
Listing Review and Visibility
MuralHire may review, approve, pause, edit, limit, or remove listings to maintain platform quality, trust, safety, and legal compliance.
Profile presence on MuralHire may depend on:
- completeness
- fit with platform quality standards
- operational readiness
- rights and attribution clarity for submitted content
No Guarantee of Work
Creating a MuralHire profile does not create an entitlement to:
- a listing placement
- a project introduction
- an exclusive lead
- a booking
- any minimum amount of work
Introductions and Relationships
MuralHire may introduce you to potential buyers or opportunities. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, MuralHire is not automatically a party to the final mural agreement between you and a client.
Professional Responsibility
You remain responsible for your own professional compliance, including where applicable:
- permits
- insurance
- safety
- subcontracting
- site access
- project performance
Suspension and Removal
MuralHire may suspend or remove your profile or account if it determines that content, conduct, or platform use is misleading, unsafe, abusive, infringing, low-quality, or otherwise harmful to the marketplace.
Changes
MuralHire may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
